Recently I have found that I have not been motivated to go to the gym. I have been dreading it. So, I needed something to motivate me to go because I still wanted to do it but I was getting tired of my workouts. I have been debating for months if I wanted to purchase a workout guide. I have slowly been doing research looking at different peoples programs. I was reading and watching many reviews before I committed. After reviewing tons of reviews I landed on Natacha Oceane BUILD workout guide.
After getting the guide I can honestly say it has helped me so much to get my motivation back. I am excited to go to the gym and see what I get to do that day. The thing I like most about this guide is it’s on app and with this you get to see videos on how to properly do the movement. This is something I needed the most. I have used printable guides before but it was harder to track what I was doing and understand how to do the move. I am not saying that you need to get out there and go buy a guide this is just something new I had to do, to get my motivation back.
Doing something new no matter what it is, may just be the motivation that you need. I have talked about this before in my Lost your spark post I still do a lot of these tips but sometimes you just need something more. This could be anything, maybe you are debating on getting that gym membership, or buying an outfit you want. It does not always have to cost money but it needs to be something new to help give you that push.
Change up your routine. A new routine is a great way to start something new. This can be hard to do but it does not cost you money. It can be something as simple as changing what you eat for breakfast. Eating the same thing every day can get boring after a while, you may not even get exited anymore to make breakfast because you just don’t want it. So try and find a new recipe that gives you a little bit of exitment every morning. Maybe take a shower at night instead of in the morning. This shakes up both your morning and night routine. You may find that you are sleeping better after a hot shower at night and then you have more time in the morning to do something else. These are just some simple ways to change up your routine but are examples of starting something new to give you your motivation back.
It’s normal to not be motivated for things you do on a daily basic. The gym is one of the main places I see people lose motivation quick. Don’t feel bad if this has happened to you, it happens to a lot of us. It’s because you have gotten so used to your routine you just get bored. The best thing you can do is to change up your routine every 4- 6 weeks, it’s good for your motivation but also your body. If you need some more ideas check out this post!
